The Children’s Organ Transplant Association helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support.
Since 1988, The American Legion Family has assisted the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) and our patients throughout this nation. During that period gifts and grants from every level of the national, department, post, squadron, unit and riders, Legionnaires have helped COTA kids with more than $1 million. For the coming year, The American Legion Family will help transplant families in several departments and ensure that no child is denied a life-saving transplant due to a financial barrier.
The Executive Boards of the Post 524 Family have approved this project and have set a joint goal of $10,000 for this Legion Year.
