American Legion Auxiliary Unit 524 Encourages Everyone To Honor Fallen Warriors
Join us on Saturdays and Sundays in May from 12 Noon to 4:00 pm on the boardwalk in front of the Music Pier, where members of American Legion Post Family 524 distribute red poppies in exchange for a donation. The Flanders Field poppy has become an internationally recognized symbol of the lives sacrificed in war and the hope that none died in vain.
During May, we need your help on both Saturday & Sunday to distribute the Poppies on the boardwalk in front of the Music Pier. There is a sign-up board at the Post! Check your calendars and sign up at the Post, or contact Leigh Costigan, Poppy Chairman, at 215-939-0323.
The Auxiliary needs the support of the entire Post 524 Family and our friends. Please consider volunteering to distribute the Poppies on one or more days. This is a very important project!
